So me, Josefin and Jürgen arrived in Mallorca last tuesday. We had not booked transfer to our hotel but managed to rent a shuttlebus with another family which lowered our expenses.
When we arrived to Alcudia and NextLevelCamp there were several people already here assembling their bikes. We decided assemble our bikes as well to see if anything had broken etc.
Luckily both our bikes were fine!
Whole tuesday was spent chilling and checking out the city. On wednesday we cycled the bike course in a modest tempo. We reached Mt Coll De Femenia and started climbing it in easy pace. It was very beautiful going up but when on raceday I think my legs will hate it.

Today we had a small swimming session. We practised swimming very close to each other (and sometimes over one and other:)). It is important to practise and not get scared on raceday. Because it will be a frenzy.

In my age group alone, there are over 500 starting at the same time.
We also registered ourselves to the race and received information, a goodie bag and some race decals.

Tomorrow will be a day of relaxing and hanging out at the beach. I’ll also have to attend an information meeting with “Ironman Crew” which is mandatory.
Race day is coming up and I’m slowly realizing it 🙂
